The building’s form and architectural language respond to both the site’s proximity to waterways, and to the organic curvilinear sand patterns that are predominant in the tidal sand flats of the adjacent area. The sculpted shape of the building gives the facade a strong directionality towards the ocean and at the same time frames the best coastal vistas from north to south.
