180 Marine Parade [Gold Coast - Australia]

180 Marine Parade consists of a collection of residential apartments and luxury villas located north of the Southport CBD in Labrador overlooking the pristine Gold Coast Broadwater. Its exclusive position at the southern end of Labrador’s high-end residential precinct offers magnificent vistas towards the ocean and the city skyline. The development is adjacent to tranquil waterfront parklands complete with cycle and walking tracks along the Broadwater and swimming, boating, local cafes, and restaurants all within easy reach.

The 16-storey building is consistent with the height of the neighbouring residential developments along the Marine Parade waterfront and offers a refreshing departure from the rigid and rectilinear massing of the surrounding urban form. The building’s form and architectural language respond to both the site’s proximity to waterways, and to the organic curvilinear sand patterns that are predominant in the tidal sand flats of the adjacent area. The sculpted shape of the building gives the facade a strong directionality towards the ocean and at the same time frames the best coastal vistas from north to south.
